Experience and Precision in Every Formation
Meet Australia's Own
Virtual Roulettes!
At the Virtual Roulettes, our team operates with a structured hierarchy and defined roles that closely mirror the real-world Air Force Roulettes. In our community, aspiring members must first complete an in-depth training program at our Air Academy before they can progress to joining the team.
New pilots begin their journey in their first season as Virtual Roulettes 2, 3, or 4. These positions serve as crucial stepping stones where they learn the intricacies of synchronised flying, formation discipline, and teamwork. Under the mentorship of our seasoned members, these pilots develop the skills and precision required to perform at the highest level of virtual aerobatics.
Leadership and Expertise
Our more experienced pilots, holding the Virtual Roulette 5 and 6 positions, bring years of dedication and refined skill to our formations, ensuring that every manoeuvre is performed with precision and grace. Their expertise is a cornerstone of the team’s success, allowing for seamless coordination and flawless execution during each display.
All team members also serve as mentors and leaders to new virtual aviators within the Virtual Roulettes Air Academy. Through their guidance, they set the standard for excellence in virtual aerobatics, fostering a culture of discipline, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
At the forefront of our squadron is “Maca,” who holds the prestigious Virtual Roulette Lead position. With an impressive depth of experience and a comprehensive understanding of aerial dynamics, Maca orchestrates every performance with masterful precision. Under Maca’s leadership, the team is able to perform complex routines that showcase the very best of teamwork, skill, and professionalism, ensuring that each flight is a stunning testament to the art of formation flying.

Engaging with the Audience
Virtual Roulette 7 plays a crucial role within the team, serving as the spare aircraft pilot and taking charge of public relations. This position is essential for ensuring the smooth execution of our performances and maintaining the connection between the team and the public.
In addition to being ready to step in as a pilot when needed, Virtual Roulette 7 is frequently seen at our flying displays, where they provide live commentary and capture high-quality footage for our media presentations. Through engaging commentary, Virtual Roulette 7 breaks down the artistry, precision, and technical skill required to execute each manoeuvre, helping the audience gain a deeper appreciation of the complexities involved in formation flying.
Virtual Roulette 7 also acts as the bridge between the team and the public, handling media inquiries, managing social media interactions, and representing the Virtual Roulettes at events. Their role is vital in fostering the connection between the virtual and real-world aviation communities, making them an integral part of the team’s outreach and engagement efforts.
